Here on our blog, we've discussed the many ways the Honda Odyssey is quite the ride, even if people most associate it with being a family vehicle. It has loads of features, plenty of room, and comfort, and now Bisimoto, an aftermarket group decided to add performance to the mix. A whole lot of performance.

At the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Bisimoto and Honda shared a true "Power-Van" which is capable of exactly 1,029 horsepower. That's right: one, zero, two, nine. So, how did the duo bring the Odyssey up to speed, literally? Well, they loaded the minivan up with plenty of add on parts. We're not going to list them all, but they include some custom pistons, mufflers, and exhaust system, twin turbochargers, and a fuel pump.

The vehicle was also given a lowered riding height, new wheels, and for good measure and added versatility that the Odyssey always provides, a sport rack on top.

Of course, a van of this magnitude was built to amaze us and show everyone how you can take any vehicle, no matter the type, and make something that could roll up on the drag strip and leave others in the dust, and making jaws drop.
